Supervision

Supervision with Tammy Holcomb, LCMHCS, CEDS Supervisor

I want to continue to provide supervision to new therapists coming into the field. This is a part of my work that I enjoy very much, and I also feel that it keeps me fresh and up to date on new techniques and resources in the field Frequently, folks I supervise inspire me to continue to grow and develop my practice. I hope that you will consider me for a supervisor if you are interested in one of the following:

  • Becoming Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

  • Becoming Certified Eating Disorder Specialist

  • Learning More about Eating Disorders

  • Opening a private practice

  • Bachelors level or Master level internship

In addition to individual supervision, I enjoy leading group supervision sessions. I provide a Monthly Supervision Group that allows folks to attend on drop in basis as needed for extra support.

I also facilitate a free monthly supervisor community group through the LCCNC(Licensed Clinical Counselor Association of North Carolina). For more information on how to join this group, check out their website. https://www.lpcanc.org/continuing_education_events.php.

In addition to the monthly group, they also have several home study courses available that I created to help with supervision education: https://www.lccnc.org/home-study_courses.php

Annually, we provide the Mirror in the Mirror in the Mirror 45 Hour Supervision Training. Here is a link to learn more about this training for new supervisors: https://www.lccnc.org/mirror-in-the-mirror_supervisi.php
