Stretch

I always try to choose a word for the year. My word for 2020 was Stretch. I originally chose this word, because I wanted to stretch my back and shoulders more to prevent injuries as I age. Yet, the more I thought about this word; I began to realize that I also wanted to stretch in other ways.

I’ve been a dreamer and visionary my entire life. This has served me well and allowed me to build programs for others. Yet, I have always held back from expanding my own practice. This year I want to stretch myself and reach more for my dreams.

I want to take the risk and do more things that nurture me. Therefore, I started Creative Expression Workshops the first Sunday of every month. In January, we made Vision Boards. In February, we explored our Archetypes and how to utilize this wisdom in making decisions about our lives. In March, we explored the “story” of our Gender and Sexuality. I am very excited to see what April will bring, and I invite you to join me in this new journey.
